Allison's and Nick's wedding day

A few days ago I shared with you Allison and Nick's engagement shoot, so today it's time for their Islington Town Hall and Dead Dolls House wedding.Islington Town Hall is definitely one of my favourite wedding ceremony locations in London with its big light rooms and beautiful corridors. And of course I have my favourite spots for shooting around Islington.Allison and Nick are pretty laid back and so was their wedding - fun and relaxed. They just rocked up to the Town Hall together without a fuss, got married in front of their family and close friends and partied at the Dead Dolls House across the road.It's a very original venue with lots of quirky details. It might not be an obvious choice for a wedding venue. However with a bit of a special touch by Occasion Queens it was turned into a very classy wedding venue. There were gorgeous flowers from Catherine Short Floral Design on the tables and name tags beautifully calligraphed by one of the bridesmaids. Cake was made by Nick's mum. The Made of Honour has grown plenty of cute little succulents for this occasion and you could find them all over the venue.Lovely Megan of House Of Illustrations was there to document the day in her illustrations. She also decorated a very original frame for guests to sign.Good company, delicious food, really funny speeches and rocking the dance floor with Wedding Smashers DJ - pretty much a recipe for a perfect wedding if you ask me.
