OXFORDSHIRE TIPI WEDDING // ROSIE + JAMES
Who doesn't love a tipi wedding?!?! Especially when the summer is as amazing as this year! A tipi wedding is like a one day holidays with your friends, like a trip to a festival, like a picnic for 100 people (but with cutlery). And even if it was the first day of rain and crazy winds after nine weeks of an unprecedented in UK heat wave, the moods were amazing.Rosie and James got married in a very old little church in Oxfordshire. After the ceremony everyone headed to Maybush Weddings in Witney for the reception. They planned a wonderful tipi wedding full of personal details, DIY and entertainment. Including tents for guests to stay overnight. There was everything from giant Jenga, photo booth trailer, ice cream truck to a big game of flip cup: team Rosie vs Team James. Team James won!The weather tried to interrupt a bit, but we managed to take all the pictures between rain showers. It wasn't easy to pose with the wind messing up hair and dresses but everyone did amazing, and surely will be laughing about it looking at pictures a decade from now. This wedding was extra special, as two years earlier I photographed Rosie's sister Alex getting married. So it's like seeing old friends, just a bit emotional.I'm gonna stop rambling now, just enjoy the day in the pictures! See you tomorrow!
