Claire and Josh got married at the Bandstand, which is a landmark at the seafront in Brighton and had a fun reception at the Brighton Beach Club. It was such a happy day and the sun shone all day long!

GETTING HITCHED

The ceremony was an intimate service at the Bandstand. During the ceremony they had several beautiful readings from friends and family. It was such a personal service.

For the confetti bit their friends made an arch with cricket bats, as it's their favourite sport.

Weddings at the Brighton Bandstand are amazing as who wouldn't want to say 'I do' practically at the beach?!

WHY THE BANDSTAND IS A GREAT PLACE TO GET MARRIED IN BRIGHTON

The Bandstand is perfectly located and is one of the loveliest places to get married in Brighton. It's close to many reception venues and of course there are so many beautiful spots nearby that are perfect for photos, and you don't even have to go to the Pier to get awesome shots.

THE RECEPTION

The couple had a drinks reception in the afternoon, and a party in the downstairs room at Brighton Beach Club the evening. It's situated just next to the Bandstand and has an outdoor area at the beach level there Claire and Josh prepared some garden games including of course a giant Jenga. For dinner they had a delicious buffet and they finished off the evening with dance party.

THE COUPLE

Claire wore gorgeous lace dress and shoes with colorful details (wchich she later changed to epic rainbow detailed trainers) and Josh wore a three piece suit and a tie with seagulls (very Brighton!) and they looked perfect.

ADVICE FOR PLANNING YOUR BRIGHTON BANDSTAND WEDDING

The Brighton Bandstand is a perfect location if you're planning an intimate wedding (Claire and Josh had 60 guests). The team is really nice too. If you'd like to add own touch to it, you can decorate it too. We were absolutely lucky with the weather, but we live in the UK after all so if you're unsure you can always organise colourful umbrellas. These can be hired for the day from companies like Brolly Bucket.
